Join us for the latest trend of learning and playing music---Recreational Music Making !

You will start with relaxed posture, feeling rhythm through movements. Then keyboard fundamentals like reading notes, applying chords would be introduced and we will play together in a fun environment. It is beginner- friendly, no stressful recital or solo playing. You will learn at your own pace.

You don’t need prior experience with music to attend this class. Come with old friends or meet new friends. Bring your earphones (headphones) but all keyboards and materials will be provided by the instructor. The goal is to enjoy music making together and apply simple tools to the songs you always want to play.

What is Recreational Music Making?

"Recreational Music Making refers to playing musical instruments alone or in a group without the goals of mastery or performance."

Recreational Music Making encompasses enjoyable, accessible and fulfilling music-based activities that unite people of all ages regardless of their challenges, backgrounds, ethnicity, ability or prior experience.

Recreational Music Making is distinct from "regular" music making as its purpose is the enjoyment and well-being of the participant and the group, not an artistic or aesthetic outcome. Of particular importance is the fact that participation does not require talent or training. Exemplary performance is not the motive - fun and relaxation are the key drivers.
