Myra Han

Myra Han is a pianist and violinist with a passion for teaching piano and music theory. As a former student of Dr. Chang, Myra was the 1st Prize Winner of MMTA’s Senior Young Artist Competition in 2022. Myra graduates from Duke University in December 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Minor in Music.

 

At Duke, she is an active chamber musician and leads Musical Empowerment, a club dedicated to providing accessible music education and mentorship to children in the local community. 

 

Myra is an enthusiastic, positive, and patient teacher, and her education in both neuroscience and music deeply informs her teaching approach. She believes that theory is an integral part of music education, and she also loves to show students how it applies to piano performance.
